Promoting intellectual security in the light of the cultural approach to media education "An analytical study of Saudi intellectual education programs"

Abstract

the cultural approach of media education, through clarification the relation between the cultural approach of media education and intellectual security and the relation between intellectual security and social media “Twitter” as model) .by using a descriptive analysis and cultural approach and depending on Swotas a tool for information analysis. The study reached a set of results of which the most significant are: 1) Intellectual security has a significant relationship to the cultural approach of media education and interaction of Saudi Twitter users (tweeps) with their national issues is a tool intended to promote intellectual security. 2) Ftn and Hasana Programs lack thebasis for strategic planning in line with the power and impact of Media on intellectual security. This study provides a set of recommendations including : 1) The need for strategic planning for the Intellectual Awareness Center, which was developed by the Ministry in light of the global importance of media education in the field of intellectual security. 2) Inclusion of media education curricula in Saudi education.
