Publication Ethics

1. Honesty and accuracy in documenting, analyzing and disseminating data and results, without lying, misleading, or deceiving.

2. Honesty and keeping promises and agreements; Seek consistency of thought and work, and not be biased or manipulated in the design of the research process and in the analysis and presentation of data.

3. Caution and not neglect, and work to minimize human and methodological errors to a minimum.

4. Openness, sharing data and results with researchers, and accepting constructive criticism.

5. Respecting intellectual property from patents and copyrights, attributing opinions to their owners and avoiding plagiarism. Or stolen it, and not to use any unpublished data or results without consulting its owner, respecting privacy and maintaining confidentiality of the information.

6. Publishing with the aim of developing and benefiting humankind, not just to obtain personal interests, and using the resources available wisely to accomplish the desired goals.

7. Respecting researchers and colleagues at work, giving appreciation and thanks to those who deserve it, helping researchers and enhancing their capabilities and enabling them to make their own decisions.

8. Commitment to social responsibility and the pursuit of developing the community and solving its problems through scientific research and studies, and avoiding racial discrimination based on sex, race, or religion between colleagues or students.

9. Adherence to the laws and regulations established by institutions and agencies organizing scientific research.

10. Respecting the human self and not violating human rights and dignity when conducting experiments on it, and managing scientific research on human beings to ensure the achievement of the greatest benefit and the least possible harm, and non-human beings and animals must be treated with appropriate respect and care when used in experiments.

11. Avoid any conflict of interest, such as supporting private entities with an agenda, or linking with parties with special interests.
