The Development of Hotel Clothes Function Performance by Using Environmentally Friedly Materials for "Neom" in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Light of Sustainable Tourism

Abstract

Hotel clothing is important in the functional clothing industry with diverse occupations. This prompts the pursuit of functional requirements affecting the construction of the design proposal for hotel clothing, such as the type of material, that seeks to protect employees' health and the surrounding environment to have a healthy and vibrant society. The objective of the current research is to develop the functionality of hotel clothing using eco-friendly ores considering the sustainable tourism of the city of Neom in Saudi Arabia. It also aims to determine the percentage of agreement of both specialists and hotel workers in innovative designs of sustainable hotel clothing,The research followed the descriptive analytical approach with the applied study due to its suitability to the research objectives. The results showed a high degree of acceptance of innovative designs by both hotel specialists and staff. According to the specialists, the females' design "3" was the best design, followed by the females’ design "5". As for males' designs, design "1" was the best, followed by design "21", and finally design "14". According to the hotel staff, on the other hand, the feminine design “5” was the best one, followed by the feminine design “3”. As for males’ designs, "21" was the best, followed by design "1" and finally design "14".
