Abstract

With the advent of the new decade, the world has witnessed a rich diversity of practices that aim to achieve sustainability in various areas of life,. The study aimed to present contemporary design ideas and modern creative methods that carry the spirit and culture of the past to enhance the authentic Arab character, keep pace with modern fashion for furnishings, revive the decorative heritage of Khayamiya fabrics. sustainable practice techniques. It also follows the descriptive analytical approach The study sample consisted of (15) innovative designs for by fabrics (satin - damour - jute), and included (45) rectangular tablecloths sized 120 x 66 cm. The number of (15) tablecloths and the number of (45) square tablecloths of size 40 x 40 cm, the number of (15) tablecloths for each type of fabric under study. And (3) dimensional hangings with Ramadan characters on a standing wooden stand. An arbitration form was prepared for academic specialists, and another for producers, furniture designers, and consumers, as it clarified. The best products are Design (11). While the least products furnishings are Design. (7), it was concluded that the best implemented Ramadan event pendants in fulfilling the evaluation items is Design (2), while the least are Design. (3), the study recommended. The importance of exploiting Khayamiya fabrics to, And exploiting it to establish small and medium enterprises to eliminate unemployment and achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
