It is a descriptive study that was applied using the survey method on a random sample of 475 public and private secondary school students, consisting of (475) individuals from secondary school students in Cairo and Minya governorates, based on the theory of Uses and Satisfaction The study tools were a questionnaire form as the main tool for collecting data from the respondents. The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which are the following. The percentage of sample members who sometimes use the “Tik Tok” application is high. The study sample’s reasons for using the “Tik Tok” application varied, as “obtaining various information” came in first place, followed in second place by “getting rid of the daily routine,” and “videos” came in first place. “Entertainment” in terms of videos that the respondents follow, then followed by “religious videos” and in third place came “cultural videos.” There is a statistically significant relationship between the rate of teenagers’ use of short video production applications (Tik Tok) and the satisfactions they achieve. There are statistically significant differences among the exhausted study sample in their rate of use of short video production applications according to the variable (type of school) in favor of private school students.
