The Effect of Television Studio Electronic Simulation on Developing Educational Media Students' Photography Skills for News Bulletins

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to enhance the photography skills for news bulletin production among educational media students at the Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, for the academic year 2024/2023, by measuring the impact of electronic simulation of a television studio on these skills. The researcher utilized a quasi-experimental research approach with a sample of 57 male and female students from the third year of the Radio and Television section in the Department of Educational Media. The sample was divided into two equivalent groups: an experimental group consisting of 30 students and a control group consisting of 27 students. The measurement tools in the study included an achievement test to assess the cognitive aspect of news bulletin photography skills and an observation card to evaluate the practical aspect of these skills. The research results indicated a positive impact of electronic simulation of a television studio on the development of news bulletin photography skills. The study recommends the significance of utilizing modern technologies to enhance various media skills among educational media students.
