Abstract

The research aim to improve the quality of education for graduates of the College of Home Economics through the differences and similarities between the methods of building the proposed models (Winifred Aldrich) and (Fernando Burgo’s method), to build advanced models for use in evening wear, benefit from the results of the research in determining the best methods for teaching the pattern for evening wear in the subject of the graduation project in terms of the degree of control and conformity to the Egyptian body, arriving at a standardized model for the women's pattern that suits With the nature of the Egyptian body . The results of the comparison between the two methods and determining the factors of difference in the patterns and the best typical method used for good adjustment (bend and balance), (adjust front pattern), (adjust back pattern), (sleeves) and (adjust all models patterns) according to the opinions of specialists, as the best Models are made in size (44, 46, 48) using the Burgo method, while models made in size (42, 40) using the Aldrich method are close in proportion to the Burgo method. We conclude from this that the Aldrich model does not suit large Egyptian . The quality factor of the model was lower, while the Burgo model achieved the highest quality factor percentages for all sizes. For this reason, the burgo model fits more with the nature of Egyptian bodies, and this confirms that Italian body sizes are close to Egyptian body sizes.
