Taking advantage of some of Anne-Mathilde Bilbrough's candy sequence moves to improve some solfege items for beginners

Abstract

Solfege is a study of everything related to singing and playing, melodies and rhythm, musical sounds, and shrines, as well as the method of writing, reading and interpreting them, identifying the characteristics of musical sounds, such as pitch and character, and teaching musical dictation to develop the musical sense, and strengthen the skills of identifying and distinguishing between tones, and facilitating Classification of world musical colors.

Rhythmic and lyrical solfege is one of the items of solfege. It deals with the rhythmic and melodic element of music. It aims at the ability to read, transcribe, perform rhythmic signs, and sing different musical tones. The American author Anne Mathilde Bilbrow dealt with a group of works that revolutionized the teaching of piano literature for children, including the candy sequence. Consisting of 6 dances using a group of rhythms and melodic themes Simple through which she expressed in each movement a description of a type of children's sweet, which prompted the researcher to devise some rhythmic and solfege exercises from some of the dances composed by Anne-Mathilde Bilbrow because of the polyrhythmic content and melodic themes that may contribute to improving the performance of rhythmic solfege Solomon singing.

This research included the research problem, the research objectives, the importance of the research, the research hypotheses, the research sample and the terminology.
