Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the effectiveness of an enrichment program in home economics based on digital cartoons to develop visual thinking and a positive attitude towards life for primary school students. The research sample consisted of (62) students from the fourth grade of primary school. The application of the research tools (visual thinking test, a measure of positive attitude towards life) before and after the application of the enrichment program. And there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre and post applications of the measure of positive attitude towards life among primary school students in favor of the post application. Based on the strategy of digital cartoons for fourth grade students, the research recommended the necessity of activating enrichment programs in developing the different skills of students in different educational stages, and employing cartoons effectively for students in different educational stages.
