The management competence of the hearing handicapped child and its relation with his acquisition to some life skills

Abstract

The research aims to reveal the nature of the relationship between administrative competence and the acquisition of life skills for the hearing-impaired child, where the data were collected through the application of research tools represented in (general data form for the hearing-impaired child, questionnaire of administrative competence, questionnaire of life skills), on a purposeful sample of 100 children. Hearing impaired, in the preparatory stage, from different social and economic levels, and using the analytical descriptive approach. The results revealed: There is a statistically significant positive correlation at 01.0 between administrative competence with its axes and life skills with its dimensions, and there is a statistically significant negative relationship at 01.0 and 05. 0, between the monthly income of the families of the hearing-impaired children and each of (efficiency in planning, efficiency in implementation, efficiency in evaluation, total administrative competency questionnaire) for the hearing-impaired child, and there are statistically significant differences between the hearing-impaired children in the efficiency in implementation according to the mother’s work for the benefit of the children The hearing-impaired whose mothers do not work, while there are no differences between the hearing-impaired children in each of (total administrative competency questionnaire, and Total life skills questionnaire) according to the mother's work
