Abstract

The aim of the current research is to measure the effectiveness of a virtual class on the (Microsoft Teams) platform to learn some skills of implementing clothes according to the standards of designing virtual classes.

The research sample consisted of (25) students from the second year in the College of Home Economics, Department of Clothing and Textiles.

The research used the semi-experimental approach, whose tools were an achievement test to identify the students' achievement of the cognitive aspect of the research subject. And a skill test to measure the extent to which students acquire the skills of implementing the clothes included in the classroom.

A rating scale was prepared to evaluate the implemented samples, and a questionnaire to measure students' opinions towards the proposed virtual classroom.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the scores of the students in the pre- and post-test, whether achievement or skill in favor of the post-tests, and the students' opinions were positive towards the proposed virtual classroom.
