The Ergonomics of The Interior Design of the Children's rooms and its Relationship to their Psychological Security

Abstract

The current research aimed to study the relationship between the ergonomics of the interior design of the children’s bedroom and their psychological security, and the study followed the descriptive analytical approach, and the basic sample consisted of (300) students in the sixth grade of primary school, and the tools included the general data form, the residential variables form, and the interior design ergonomic questionnaire. For children's bedroom, psychological security questionnaire, The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 in the ergonomics of the interior design of the children’s bedroom and psychological security according to the gender difference in favor of females, according to the educational level of the parents in favor of the high educational level, according to the father’s profession in favor of higher jobs, and according to the mother’s work in favor of the female workers. According to family size in favor of small families, according to monthly income in favor of high income, in favor of urban residents and housing in ownership, in favor of rooms with a large area and in favor of residents alone, it also showed that there is a direct correlation between the ergonomics of the interior design of the children’s bedroom and psychological security, as well as that more Variants of ergonomic influence on the interior design of the children's bedroom were The educational level of the mother, the educational level of the father,
