Benefiting from the volume "Elements of Piano Techniques" by Ernest Hutchison in developing some playing skills for piano students
Research Summary:
Through his volume, The Elements of Piano Technique, composer Ernest Hutcheson was able to collect the best ideas contained in a large number of recent works in one volume in a gradual manner, which helps to acquire some playing skills and reach the best performance.
This research aims to:
- Studying some modern methods for learning the playing skills of the piano instrument.
- Determining the technical elements of Ernest Hutcheson's volume in developing some playing skills for piano students.
- Develop technical skill through the development of instructions and directions for playing the exercises of Ernest Hutcheson.
The research is divided into two parts:
Part one: previous studies and theoretical framework

The second part: the applied framework and includes a comprehensive survey of Ernst Hutchison’s volume, in which he presented the elements of technique through a set of basic exercises for the pianist. Technology and access to better performance.
The research concluded with results and recommendations.
