Abstract

Interactive attention problems are one of the most common issues among autistic children, and the problem lies in the inability to pay attention and focus while interacting with others, although children with autism, whether mild or moderate, may differ in the severity of their disability. Marwa El-Baz (2016) indicated that many people believe that people with special needs can play with normal games, but on a practical level, this group has special gaming needs. Therefore, the problem of searching for early detection of the various weaknesses of autistic children crystallized, which prompted researchers to search for how to develop the level of interactive attention among children with simple and medium autism by measuring the impact of educational electronic games on the development of their attention skills. Hence, the research tends towards the use of the learning strategy by playing.
The research followed the quasi-experimental design through the application on two groups of autistic children, 5 with mild autism and 5The subject of experimental treatment was also represented in the production of an educational electronic game of drag-and-drop style.
It included two measurement tools: an electronic test, and a note card for attention skills. The most important results indicated: Increased interactive attention of autistic children in the two experimental groups, and the percentage of response rates was higher in favor of those with mild autism in the electronic test and the observation card.
