The Effectiveness of Blended Learning by Using "Microsoft Teams" to Achieve the Outcomes of the Course Pattern Design and Tailoring of Children's Clothing

Abstract

The objective of the current research is to measure the effectiveness of blended learning by using the Microsoft Teams application in developing the cognitive achievement and acquisition of skills among students of the second year clothing and textile department by creating a team that contains several channels using the Microsoft Teams application that includes knowledge and skills of prescribed content (Pattern Design and Tailoring of Children's Clothing), and it included The research sample consists of (83) male and female students from the second year in the clothing and textile department, The research followed the semi-experimental Method to suit it to achieve the objectives of the research and verify its hypotheses. And the learning effect remained, and the results of the research also resulted in the existence of a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students in the test of cognitive achievement and the pre and post skills performance in favor of the post-study group among the students of the experimental group that studied in the method of "blended learning", and also found a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the students in the test. Postponed post and post cognitive achievement in favor of the postponed one, and the positive results clarified the students' views towards the application of blended learning using Microsoft Teams implementation of course content continues, and the two researchers recommend, in light of the results of the current study.
