Benefit from hybrid education in raising the skills of female students with custom clothing and sewing course during the Corona pandemic.

Abstract

The research aims to implement the hybrid education system and its effectiveness in raising the skills of students with the subject of custom clothing and sewing in duration of the Corona pandemic. While there are more than a billion and a half students of all ages have suffered, the way of education around the world has been affected by the Corona pandemic, which has made distance education an inevitable option. The Ministry of Higher Education announced the plan to implement the hybrid education system, which depends on the combination of face-to-face and distance learning. Herein, the research team establish a group on (WhatsApp) and they prepare an educational YouTube channel through which the educational program was presented to the students of the second year of the educational department. They applied the hybrid education in the subject of custom clothing and sewing. The results of the study reached an increase in the cognitive achievement of the experimental group. Moreover, the results showed that the information provided by the educational program through social networks is easier to understand and collect, and then it is easier to review. Finally, it led to an increase in the skill level of the members of the experimental group (research sample) to implement the professional skills.
