Abstract

Since the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, Russia witnessed a remarkable musical development that it had not witnessed before. The state made it a part of public thought, introduced it into clubs, factories, and operas, encouraged talents, published books, and supported scientific research.
Kabalavsky is one of the most important Russian authors whose works are distinguished by technical ingenuity that requires high performance technique and skill due to his reliance in his educational philosophy on achieving a balance between teaching music and building the personality of the individual, especially in children, and he presented nearly 300 pieces. Therefore, the researcher dealt with one of them with instrumental analysis to help students understand it and perform it properly.
The research includes: introduction, the research problem, its objectives, its importance, the research hypotheses, and its limits.
The research includes two frameworks: The theoretical framework and consists of:
Overview of the Piano Variations (Toccata) Template.
An overview of the life story of the Russian composer Kabalovsky, his most important works and style.
Previous studies related to the research topic.
Application framework:
The theoretical and instrumental analysis of the two works classified as 40 Kapalavsky, presenting the technical difficulties
And how to overcome it.
Then results, recommendations and references.
