The Anxiety about Contagion with Corona Virus (Covid-19) and its Relationship to Housewife's Management of the Daily Preventive Behaviors from the virus during the Pandemic

Abstract

The aim of the research is to study the relationship between anxiety about Contagion with corona virus and the household's management of daily preventive behaviors from the virus during the pandemic. The research tools were the primary data form, questionnaire for anxiety about Contagion with corona virus, and questionnaire of Management the daily preventive behaviors for household, And the research tools were applied to (285) households who were chosen from the governments of Menoufia, Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Dakahlia, the research followed the descriptive and analytical approach. the results of the research was that: there are 68.8% of households suffer from high and medium levels of anxiety about Contagion with corona virus, and there are 57.9% of the research sample is at the high level of managing daily preventive behaviors from the virus. The existence of a statistically significant correlation relationship at the level of significance 0.001 between the anxiety about Contagion with corona virus and the daily preventive behaviors management against the virus with its axes (personal - food - clothing -housing), There is a significant correlation relationship between some variables (family size - educational level of the head and household of the family - income) and both of the anxiety about Contagion with corona virus and the daily protective behaviors from the virus at significance levels 0.01, 0.05.the recommendations of the research: presenting awareness programs for households to reduce the anxiety about Contagion with corona virus and raise awareness levels of managing daily preventive behaviors from the virus.
