A proposed Cubic Curriculum in Home Economics to develop Strategic Thinking and Enhance the National Sense of middle school students in view of the Sustainable Development Strategy (Egypt Vision 2030)

Abstract

The current research aimed to build a proposed unit in the home economy to include a sustainable development strategy through the Cubic Curriculum, Measuring their effectiveness in developing strategic thinking and enhancing the patriotic Sense of first-year middle school students, A descriptive, analytical and experimental Curriculum with a semi-experimental, pre-experimental, and one-dimensional design was used for one group, The sample of the experimental research consisted of (37) students, research tools (strategic thinking scale, Patriotic Sense scale) and experimental treatment materials (student book, teacher guide, activity brochure and exercises) were prepared for the unit "Sustainability, Work and Life", The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of the proposed cubic Curriculum to home economics in developing strategic thinking and enhancing the patriotic Sense of female students. The research sample in view of the sustainable development strategy (Egypt Vision 2030), And the presence of a positive correlation between the degrees of students of the experimental group on the scale of strategic thinking (as a whole) and their degrees on the scale of patriotic Sense (as a whole).), One of the most important recommendations of the research is the adoption by academic supervisors of practical education programs, training female students-teachers in organizing the organizational framework of the study subjects covered in the view of the Cubic Curriculum to achieve the desired integration between the scientific content and the issues involved and teaching strategies ,
