A proposed program that uses computers to overcome some of the difficulties of recalling melodic dictation in the subject of hearing training for students of the Faculty of Specific Education

Abstract

This Research clearly addresses the improvement of student level of Faculty Of Specific Education Music Department in some skills of solfeggio specially in Melody dictation by using Software Computer that using to write music Sheet. This technology helps us to make student depend on them self not totally on teacher by making the material available all the time with them. So, student can listen to the examples and notate it. The research take about melody examples that student write it. Research student was grouped to two groups, one of them study with normal way and the second group study with new method. The theoretical chapter that talk about how to use the software programs. The results of this research appeared that the improvement degrees of new way is higher than the improvement degrees of normal way.
