Two Types of Incorporating Augmented Reality Technology with the Textbook and Their Effect on Achieving some Learning Outcomes of the Computer and Information and Communications Technology Course for First Grader Students Preparatory According to their Cognitive Style

Abstract

The aim of the research is to investigate the impact of the interaction between two patterns of integrating augmented reality technology (Quick Response code - the image) in the school textbook and the cognitive style (dependent on the cognitive field - independent of the cognitive field) on achieving some of the learning outcomes of the computer course and information and communication technology for first preparatory grade students, Where two patterns were designed to integrate augmented reality technology (quick response code - the image), and the research was applied to a sample of (40) students who were divided into four equal groups, the first and second group (two patterns of augmented reality; quick response code and image with the cognitive style based on the cognitive field), and the third and fourth groups (two patterns of augmented reality; the quick response code and the image with the cognitive style independent from the cognitive field) .
The results showed that there is a significant impact of interaction between the two patterns of integrating augmented reality technology (quick response code -  the image) in the school textbook and cognitive style on the development of knowledge achievement and practical performance of the skills of computer basics and operating systems, the average impact of interaction between the pattern of integrating augmented reality technology and the cognitive method in developing knowledge achievement and the practical performance of the skills of computer basics and operating systems in favor of the pattern of integration Augmented reality technology (image) with cognitive style (independent of cognitive field).
