Evaluation of university media production for university students: proposed standards within the framework of the 9 principles of media education

Abstract

The researcher used two research methodologies: the descriptive approach to diagnose the reality of the production of media messages among university students, and the use of the future analysis approach "Prospective Analysis" In the style of Delphi three rounds in order to clarify the optimal, and to propose a set of standards for the quality of production of media messages. The study tools consisted of two questionnaires. The first was to identify the university students' specialized production of media messages (applied to students), while the second was to identify five-dimensional criteria (applied to a group of academic experts according to the Delphi method). The study also found a list of quality standards for the production of media messages to be applied to university students. The purpose of the study was to improve the quality of the production of the media messages provided by them. Some recommendations and research were presented in the framework of the study results .
