Effect of Using Infographic on Developing Visual Thinking Skills for Middle School Students Achievement and Visual Thinking in Middle School pupils

Abstract

The current research goal is to design educational software based on the infographic, and to measure its impact in the development of visual thinking skills. Thus, the researcher applied the steps of the "Zeinab Mohammed Amin" model. In order to achieve the goal of the research, the semi- experimental method of one group was used on a sample of 80 students from the first grade Preparatory School of Umm Al-Muameneen Preparatory School for girls in the Jerga Educational Institute- Sohag governorate. The tools were applied before and after the verification of their validity and stability on the sample of the research, and then the researcher conducted the process of data processing statistically through the SPSS program. The results of the study revealed a statistically significant difference at the level of significance 0.05 between the mean test scores and the post-test averages in the visual thinking test, The results of the study presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to generalize the use of the technology in all the curricula of the preparatory curriculum in the preparatory stage.
