E- Simulation and Its Impact on the Development of Digital Image Capture Skills among Students of Instrucational Technology

Abstract

The challenge for learners and teachers alike is how to select and choose how much information, focus on information that is important and how to perceive it easily and appropriately in their working life. Infographics rely on visual perception, which is the primary input of cognitive speed, Only the key role in determining their level can be improved through learning and training, which is one of the most important factors in the information processing model in the human mind. Any knowledge function requires speed and accuracy in understanding. Therefore, the current research aims at revealing the relationship between the infographics and the perceptual speed of the students of Instrucational Technology. The measurement tools were the perceptual speed test, which measures two components: the speed of information processing and the ability to focus attention without dispersion. The research was carried out on a sample of students of the third division, Computer Teacher Division, Department of Instrucational Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, consisting of (50) students. Experimental processing was an e-learning environment based on infographics.  The results confirmed that computer graphics improved the perceptual speed of students in the learning technology. She recommended that faculty members should be encouraged to use infographics in teaching courses as a modern teaching technique to make learning more lively for learners and to focus on the design of visual educational materials according to the design principles that lead to faster recognition.
