Youth exposure to reader articles in electronic newspapers and their relationships towards current events: a field study

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the extent of the exposure of young people to the articles of readers in electronic newspapers and their relationship to their attitudes towards current events. The researcher used the descriptive approach. The study tool was in a questionnaire aimed at young people.  The period of exposure to electronic newspapers came less than one year (48.25%), while the exposure rate was more than one year and less than three years (19.25%), while the exposure rate was three years or more (32.50%.  The extent of exposure to electronic newspapers was permanent (82.00%), while the exposure rate was sometimes (18.00%), while the exposure rarely reached any percentage.  ranked first in terms of motives for exposure to electronic newspapers (to devise new ideas from published content), while in the latter ranking (discussed issues not found in other media.
