The research aimed to develop the skills of visual representation of information and professional satisfaction among students of the Faculty of Specific Education by measuring the impact of a virtual learning environment on the development of these skills and professional satisfaction among fourth-year students of the Educational Technology Department, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University, during the academic year 2023/2024.
To achieve the research objectives, the researcher followed the quasi-experimental method. The research group consisted of 40 students, and the measurement tools included an achievement test, a product evaluation card, and a professional satisfaction scale.
The research results indicated a positive impact of the virtual learning environment on the development of visual representation skills of information and professional satisfaction. It also found that students excelled in visually representing information within the storyboard designed by the researcher, which combines the characteristics of the educational scenario and the storyboard.
The study also highlighted the students' satisfaction with their professional future. The research recommends the importance of visual representation skills of information within the scenario and storyboard and benefiting from the various patterns of visual representation of information for instructional designers when designing educational materials of a practical and theoretical nature.
