Abstract

The current research aims to study the effectiveness of a guidance program to develop university youth’s awareness of digital behavioral etiquette in light of the family value system. The research tools were represented by a general family data form, a questionnaire on digital behavioral etiquette in light of the family value system A guidance program to develop university youth’s awareness of digital behavioral etiquette in light of the family value system. The basic research sample consisted of (365) university boys and girls from Al-Azhar University .The experimental research sample consisted of (35) university students, both male and female, who were selected based on their low level of awareness in the digital behavioral etiquette questionnaire from the lower quartile of the basic study sample. The research used the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach. Among the most important results of the research: The size of the impact of the guidance program in developing the awareness of university youth of the etiquette of digital behavior in light of the family value system in the experimental study sample according to the value of Eta square (η²) reached (0.98).This means that 98% of the variance between pre- and post-test scores is due to the impact of program implementation. The research's most important recommendations: Continuously educate children about the importance of preserving their digital, cultural, and social identities, regulating children's use of social media at specific times and within a specific framework consistent with the family's value system, and publishing advertisements on social media.
