The aesthetic use of infinite light reflections to enrich contemporary decorative design

Abstract

This research addresses the visual phenomena resulting from infinite light reflections and explores their aesthetic potential in enriching contemporary decorative design. The study focuses on analyzing artistic approaches and visual techniques that rely on the repeated reflection of light, and their role in creating visual depth and the illusion of expansion and infinity within decorative compositions.



Infinite light reflections are among the most striking contemporary phenomena that have attracted the attention of many artists and designers due to their ability to produce perceptual effects that go beyond traditional decorative structures. The research sheds light on the visual and technical foundations of this phenomenon, analyzing its aesthetic dimensions and how they align with the principles of repetition, harmony, and rhythm.



A descriptive-analytical method was adopted to examine contemporary artistic and design models and interpret their aesthetic and spatial effects within decorative contexts. The study also discusses the relationship between light, mirrors, and repetition as constructive elements that contribute to forming a dynamic and evolving decorative language based on the viewer’s sensory perception.



The research concludes that the conscious use of infinite light reflections is not merely a visual tool but serves as an entry point for developing a contemporary decorative language that combines sensory aesthetics with modern techniques, opening new horizons in the field of decorative design.
