Textiles are an artistic field rich in visual value, due to the diversity of textile compositions, the variety of artistic styles and techniques used, and the multiplicity of materials and threads. Each artist adds their own unique touch, based on their cultural background and innovative abilities, enhancing the diversity and distinction of textile production. In the same context, needlework, with its various techniques, is a visual art characterized by its uniqueness and high skill, requiring precision in the use of these techniques and various tools. Handicrafts, in their various forms, are one of the pillars that demonstrate the development and cultural richness of societies, reflecting their connection to identity and heritage, as well as their ability to renew and keep pace with contemporary changes. Experimentation in this context represents an effective tool for repurposing and developing these arts by creating new visual solutions and techniques that enrich the field of textiles. In this context, the importance of the mutual benefit between the arts of handicrafts (Etamine) and the art of weaving is highlighted, opening the way for contemporary innovations that express the integration of authenticity and innovation. This can be achieved by employing elements inspired by plant nature in the formulation of textile products with a contemporary artistic character, in light of modern visual visions.
