Abstract

The current research aimed to develop the skills of producing animated graphics among students of educational technology using the intelligent agent pattern (dynamic/interactive). The research sample consisted of 60 students from the fourth year, Department of Educational Technology, Computer Science specialization, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University. The research used the quasi-experimental design with two experimental groups to apply the research tools. The achievement test was applied before and after the treatment to ensure the homogeneity of the groups and to measure the effect of the treatment. The results showed a statistically significant difference at the level of ≤ (0.05) between the mean scores of the pre and post applications of the research sample on both the achievement test and the evaluation card in favor of the second experimental group. These results can be attributed to the characteristics of the intelligent agent pattern environment (dynamic/interactive) that was designed to allow students to interact and train on each skill according to their speed, and to take into account individual differences between students. The research presented a set of recommendations and suggested research.
