Abstract

The problem of the current research was summarized in: To what extent can the combination of organic motifs and Islamic geometric grids be utilized as an approach to enriching the woodwork of art education students? The researcher hypothesized the possibility of utilizing the combination of organic motifs and Islamic grids as an approach to enriching the woodwork of art education students.

The research aims to utilize the combination of organic motifs and Islamic geometric lattices to enrich the design of woodwork, and to enhance the artistic and technical aspects of third-year art education students.

The importance of the research lies in finding and realizing a contemporary artistic vision for the formation of woodwork, and in attempting to discover new design approaches that enrich the field of woodwork. The research's scope is spatial: 60 third-year students from the Faculty of Art Education, Minya University. Temporal: Interviews will take place during the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Objective: Combining organic motifs with geometric lattices and employing them in the creation of woodwork.

The research addresses some of the theoretical and practical procedures of the research experiment by presenting some of the students' artwork designs, explaining, describing, and analyzing them. The research concludes with the results, the most important recommendations, and a presentation of the most important references
