Abstract

Technology has influenced various aspects of life, including education, where modern tools have been introduced to enhance the quality of the learning process. Music has also become closely linked to technology, prompting researchers to explore innovative opportunities for integrating modern technologies into music education.

In this context, this study aimed to explore self-learning skills through the application of the Website Quest strategy to enhance primary school students' understanding of basic music theory.

The study adopted a quasi-experimental approach, applied to a group of 30 students, with pre- and post-assessments to measure knowledge acquisition. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the strategy in improving self-learning skills and enhancing students’ comprehension of musical concepts, showing statistically significant differences in favor of the post-test. Additionally, this approach increased students' motivation and made learning more interactive.

The study highlights the importance of integrating modern technologies into music education, as they create an engaging learning environment that fosters inquiry and exploration, leading to deeper and more sustainable learning. The research recommends incorporating Website Quests into curricula to enhance music teaching methods in an innovative and effective way.
