Abstract
Abstract:
This study aimed to construct a validated list of rapid instructional design skills for digital learning objects. The researcher employed two research methodologies: the descriptive-analytical method, through which relevant previous studies related to rapid instructional design were collected and analyzed, along with reviewing the sources and methods used to derive and analyze the skills; and the descriptive survey method, through which the researcher surveyed the opinions of (18) experts in the fields of educational technology and instructional design regarding the proposed list of skills to determine their suitability for use and implementation. The results revealed that the degree of agreement among the evaluators on the alignment of rapid instructional design skills for digital learning objects ranged between (83.3% : 100%). The study resulted in a final list of rapid instructional design skills, consisting of (2) main skills, (16) sub-skills, and (55) procedures. This list represents an important step toward providing a standardized reference that can be relied upon in preparing and qualifying students and instructional designers to design rapid and effective digital instructional content.
