Abstract

The research aims at the possibility of benefiting from the bead weaving technique in achieving sustainable development of girls’ clothing by using Palestinian decorative units as a source for creating designs and giving them an authentic and contemporary character with the aim of renewing the shape of the clothing pieces and prolonging their consumable life through reusing the clothing for a longer period of time in a renewable manner to achieve the maximum benefit from the clothing. and achieve sustainability, The researcher designed and implemented (14) proposed designs with designs inspired by Palestinian decorative units and implemented them in the weaving method using a bead loom in the form of separate units and strips, and employed these units and strips on girls’ clothes, then displayed these implemented products (14products) with the questionnaire form for the specialized arbitrators. They number (17 arbitrators) who are specialists in the field of clothing, textiles and artistic education, The implemented products (14 products) were also presented with a questionnaire form to the consumers (40 girls). The researcher used the descriptive approach, the analytical approach, and the quasi-experimental approach. Then the researcher used statistical processing to reach the results and achieve the research hypotheses. The results of the study proved that (the implemented products) had achieved Degree of acceptance in light of the average evaluation of specialists and consumer evaluation.
