Dissociative identity disorder in cinema and its relationship to some psychological and social variables

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between dissociative identity disorder and some psychological and social variables in cinema, it's also aimed to identify the symptoms and it's treatment method presented in cinema.

this study is a descriptive study, and it discusses the analytical and statistical approach. this is done through a sample of international cinema films that dealt with dissociative identity disorder



The most important findings of the study:

- the most important psychological and social variables causing dissociative identity disorder in world cinema films- sample study- were childhood developmental traumas and repeated physical and psychological attacks on the child in the first years of his life.



- dissociative identity disorder is formed in a group of different psychological and physical symptoms that arose from the combination of several factors, the most important of which are subconscious conflicts during childhood

- there are many manifestations of dissociative identity disorder
