The current research discussed the researcher's exhibition idea, which is to integrate the techniques of sculpture art with the art of photography with modern and contemporary treatments that keep pace with modern artistic trends in the art of photography, where paintings were made of relief sculpture with polyester material and the surface was treated to become a surface that can be colored without absorption or peeling. 10 paintings were executed that represent the popular character and simulate the Egyptian environment under the title Roots, where the researcher integrated sculpture techniques with photography with an original idea and a new technique.
The problem of the current research was formulated in how to study the relationship between light and color as two elements that have their importance in building the painting, and for this reason the researcher headed to conduct this study that dealt with this relationship and its role in enriching the relief sculpture paintings and clarifying the integration between light and color and the aesthetic effect it causes.
The researcher assumed that light and color have a positive mutual effect in the art of contemporary relief sculpture on the formative and expressive value of relief sculpture works, and he also assumed that dealing with color techniques on the surface of the artwork executed in the style of relief sculpture in a contemporary way works to enrich the structural value of the painting.
