A Cloud Environment to Learn Python Programming Language of Computer Students at The Faculty of Specific Education

Abstract

ِAbstract:

The present study aims to exploring the effectiveness of employing a Cloud Environment in learning cognitive and performance academic achievement of the skills of python programming language of third year students, department of computer teacher, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University (2023/2024). To achieve the study aims, the researcher, followed the descriptive and the experimental approaches. The study group included 50 male and female students. The measurement tools were a test of the cognitive aspects of the basic skills of python programming language and an evaluation card of programming projects. The achievement test was applied before and after learning, but the evaluation card of programming projects was applied only after learning. The research results proved effectiveness of learning through a cloud environment on developing cognitive achievement of the skills of python programming language. Moreover, the results proved a huge impact on the performance aspects of the skills. The study recommended employing the cloud environment that was developed in this study in teaching the programming course and other courses for the third year students, department of computer teacher, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University.
