Summary:

This research aims to explore the artistic techniques employed in creating artworks using animals row materials. It also defines the term "technique” and discusses various techniques specific to animals row materials such as leather, bone, wool, and horn. .Additionally, it reviews some artworks created using these techniques in the ancient Egyptian ,the Coptic, and the Islamic art, focusing on each material individually. The study includes detailed descriptions of specific techniques involving leather, wool, bone, and horn, and examines methods like appliqué, braiding, embroidery, weaving, coloring, carving, burning, leather embossing, cutting, engraving, perforation, addition, inlaying, felting, and water wrinkling. This study shows how ancient artists utilized these materials and techniques to create expressive works of art that reflect the richness and diversity of the Egyptian culture. The research contributes to highlighting the cultural and the historical connections among different artistic traditions, there by enhancing our understanding of Egypt’s artistic identity.
