Abstract

The current research aims to reveal the effectiveness of a counseling program to develop basic education students’ awareness of general etiquette and eating etiquette in its four aspects (etiquette with family and adults - etiquette with friends - etiquette of talking to people - eating etiquette).

A general data form was applied to them, a measure of basic education students’ awareness of public etiquette and eating etiquette, and a counseling program to develop basic education students’ awareness of public morals and eating etiquette. The research used the descriptive analytical method and the experimental method.- and post-measurements for applying the counseling program to the experimental sample in developing awareness of public morals and eating etiquette in favor of the post-measurement, The two researchers recommended the need to educate parents about the importance of training and raising their children on public morals and etiquette from a young age, and that they are the biggest role models that they imitate, and through them customs are instilled in their children. They also recommended considering the value of radio programs presented to children, as they are not merely programs for entertainment and amusement only;
