Abstract

This research seeks to explore how textile art transcends traditional boundaries and applies the principles of deconstructive philosophy. Through studying the compositions, techniques, aesthetics, and conceptual foundations of weaving, then seeking to reveal the ways in which artists disrupt the elements of formation (shapes, weaving compositions, and traditional structures), and attempting to dismantle them by applying the principles of deconstructive thought and producing a textile painting characterized by artistic richness and innovation. By adopting the principles of deconstruction, textile art transcends its traditional boundaries and invites us to explore the fluidity of form, the multiplicity of meaning, and the endless possibilities of expression and innovation.

The research problem is determined in the following question:

To what extent can textile painting be enriched through the thought of deconstructive philosophy with the help of the elements of composition?

The aim of the research is to:

 Enriching the textile painting by applying the features and characteristics of deconstructive philosophy using the elements of textile formation.

The research concluded with the following results:

1- It is possible to benefit from the thought of deconstructive philosophy to enrich textile paintings.

2- Higher-order thinking skills can be developed that go beyond retrieving and repeating information, to include analysis, evaluation, and innovation, which enhance the ability to absorb and understand complex concepts. It contributes to improving learning and thinking outside the box through the philosophical thought of deconstruction.
