Abstract

The study aimed to identify the nature of Egyptian women’s use of women and children’s pages on social networking sites and its relationship to strengthening their educational values. To achieve the goal of the study, a media survey approach was used, using a questionnaire form on a sample of (400) individuals. The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: There is a statistically significant positive correlation between Egyptian women’s use of women’s and children’s pages and educational values as a whole, and there are statistically significant differences between the research sample’s female respondents in the rate of exposure to women’s and children’s pages via social networking sites according to the variable (place of residence) in favor of urban respondents; Which means that female respondents who live in urban areas are more exposed to these pages. The study also found that there are statistically significant differences between the female respondents in the research sample in the rate of their acquisition of educational values through their exposure to women and children’s pages according to the variable (place of residence)
