The effect of a learning environment based on digital game stimuli in developing the production skills of educational technology specialists.

Abstract

The research aimed to develop the skills of producing a stimulating environment for digital games by developing a learning environment based on stimulating digital games. The research experiment was applied in the second semester of the university year (2020/2021 AD). The current research followed the experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design, and a group was formed. The research was carried out by (30) educational technology specialists in Minya Governorate. The research tools were: data collection tools, which are standards for developing a digital game stimulant environment and a questionnaire on the skills of producing digital game stimulants. The experimental treatment material was the learning environment based on digital game stimulators (moodle), and the measurement tools were an achievement test. For the cognitive aspects of the skills of producing digital game stimuli, and an evaluation card for producing a learning environment based on digital stimuli for the performance aspects. The results showed the effectiveness of a learning environment based on digital game stimuli in the post-application of the achievement test for the cognitive aspects, and the average score of the specialist rose above 85% in the production evaluation card. The research recommended the need to develop skills in producing learning environments based on digital game stimuli, rely heavily on them, and train students and specialists on learning platforms based on digital game stimuli.
