A Proposed method to improve the performance of playing musical scales for piano learners through educational tools and interactive videos

Interactive video is one of the latest modern methods based on technology, as it presents educational content in electronic from accompanied by both audio and video. Interactive video can be used in learning music in general and the piano in particular.

This study aimed to prepare a proposed educational tool to learn how to extract the evidence of musical scales, and to display interactive educational videos to improve the performance of musical scales on the piano.

The importance of the research lies in the preparation of an educational tool and interactive videos by performance of playing musical scales on the piano learners.

The results showed that the educational tools helped to facilitate the extraction of the musical scale guide for students on their own, and the interactive videos helped improve the performance of musical scales.



The researcher recommends :

- Using interactive videos about the piano to make learning fun and exciting.

- The need to benefit from modern methods and strategies in teaching musical subjects.
