Using one of Mathematics Rules to Develop the Cloche Pattern and design an Innovative Ruler for Implementation.

Abstract

The step of making patterns is the most important in the clothing industry because it is the first step and the most important one of it, and if you are not accurate you will never achieve the result you want and any mistake at this level will have consequent mistakes that are difficult to fix.

So, creating a new tool will help learners and Hobbyists to save them time and effort

Therefore, the aim of the research was to use the traditional method’s users survey for making the cloche pattern to develop a way of pattern making for cloche by using circumference of circle rule and creating an innovative ruler to save time and effort to make the cloche with high accuracy to adjust the waist size.

The research followed the descriptive approach represented in the theoretical framework of the research and the previous studies and the semi-experimental approach represented in making survey for users of traditional way of making cloche and suggest a developed way to make the pattern of cloche Then evaluate them from professors in clothes and textile who was 9 specialized.

and then implementing Two rulers as an innovative tool to implement cloche (circle / have circle) made from wood and acrylic material Then evaluate them from professors in clothes and textile who was 9 specialized.

also evaluating them from the consumers of the research sample (30 women) with age range of (20:45 years) where the researcher used applied statistics to achieve the research hypothesis.
