The effect of the style of displaying the content using animated infographics in the augmented book on the development of E-lesson production skills for educational technology students"

Abstract

The goal of the current research is to develop the skills of producing the electronic lesson using the content presentation style (infographic) through the augmented book. The research followed the developmental approach and the one-group experimental design for a sample of (30) male and female students from the third year in the Educational Technology Division at the Faculty of Specific Education, Minya University in the year University 2022/2023, and the measurement tools were: the achievement test for the cognitive aspect, and a product evaluation card for the performance aspect of the electronic lesson production skills through the augmented book. The results showed that there was a difference between the pre- and post-application of the research group in the cognitive test in favor of the post-application, which means an improvement in their cognitive level. After implementing the research experiment, the group’s performance improved and they excelled in the post-application of the product evaluation card.
