Abstract

The reading process has no specific starting point or end point. Rather, it is a dynamic process that may begin before the child enters school and may extend beyond the upper grades. Therefore, the reading process is considered the basis of every educational process, and stumbling in it results in stumbling in all other fields of learning. Therefore, the aim of the research is to shed light on the problem of reading difficulties and implement a flash educational card from the application Crochet and hand knitting and its application to first-grade primary school students. Among the research tools is the application of a reading greenhouse scale, an achievement test, and a questionnaire for the opinions of first-grade Arabic language teachers regarding the implemented cards. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences for the difficulties scale. Reading in the direction of the post-application, and also the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of students with reading difficulties for the statistical test in the direction of the post-application.
