Abstract

The research aims to verify the effectiveness of the electronic application “Stylorita App” in the clothing and fashion course for the students under study, developing the skill of color and clothing coordination, developing the level of their skill performance, and the effect resulting from teaching the students of the experimental group using the electronic application “Stylorita App” in developing the skill of color coordination of clothing. In addition to measuring the opinions of specialists in the field of clothing and textiles regarding application, and measuring the students’ cognitive and skill achievement, the research followed the descriptive analytical method and the experimental method. The research sample consisted of (110) male and female students - First Division - Faculty of Home Economics - Menoufia University, and the researcher explained the steps The program was downloaded and run on the smart phone, and the components of the electronic application were explained to teach them how to make clothing and color coordination. The results of the research revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of students in the pre- and post-application of the achievement test in favor of the post-application when using the electronic application, and the presence of statistically significant differences.
