The interactive video feedback model in a learning environment based on artificial intelligence applications and its impact on developing technological skills for student teachers at Al-Azhar University

Abstract

The research abstract The current research aims to develop technological skills related to building mathematical functions using Microsoft Excel software for male student teachers specializing in Mathematics at the Faculty of Education for Boys, Al-Azhar University in Cairo. This is achieved through exploring the impact of different feedback patterns in an interactive video-based learning environment that utilizes artificial intelligence applications. To achieve the research objective, the researchers prepared research tools, which consisted of a achievement test and an observation card. The researchers designed the experimental treatment material, which was a feedback-based (corrective and explanatory) interactive video in a learning environment based on artificial intelligence applications. A sample of 60 student teachers specializing in mathematics was selected. According to the nature of the research, the current study used the developmental research method and the experimental design known as "pretest-posttest control group design". The designed e-learning environment, based on artificial intelligence applications and feedback-based interactive videos, was applied to the students in the research sample after ensuring its validity and readiness for implementation. Statistical analysis methods were applied using the "SPSS" package, and The study results indicated a difference between the average scores of the two experimental groups in the dimensional measurement of cognitive achievement and practical skill performance using the observation card in favor of the second experimental group . The research presented a number of recommendations and suggestions for future research on employing (interpretive feedback mode with interactive video in a learning environment based on artificial intelligence) for students teachers.
