Abstract

The aim of the present research is to identify the variance between multi-group path analysis models and determine the best model for the causal relationships between psychological empowerment as an independent variable, meta-mood as an intermediary variable, and academic self-advocacy as a dependent variable among students of the Faculty of Home Economics among a sample of (1956) male and female students of the Faculty of Home Economics. To achieve this, the psychological empowerment questionnaire, meta-mood questionnaire, and academic self-advocacy questionnaire were prepared. The researchers reached the following results:

There is an overall and partial indirect effect of psychological empowerment on academic self-advocacy through meta-mood. There are statistically significant differences in multi-sample path analysis models (free model, structural weights model, and structural covariances model) among the research sample of students of the Faculty of Home Economics. The study system variance model is the best of the present study models.
