Abstract

Crochet is one of the most important techniques of needlework, and one of the ancient applied and manual arts, which is used to produce many countless pieces, and crochet is characterized by a wide variety of stitches and decorations, and from the techniques of crochet art of a special character The surface crochet, using a set of stitches and different techniques that are used to decorate crochet products.

The current research aims to employ the plastic potential of the art of crochet surface to enrich the aesthetic values of transformable clothes, and the design and formation of transformable clothes using surface crochet techniques in the light of slow fashion, and the importance of the research is to enrich aesthetic values For clothes using innovative ideas and using the plastic potential of surface crochet, and reducing the drift behind fast fashion by producing and implementing transformable clothes characterized by modernity and environmentally friendly and achieve the concept of sustainability, and research tools include a questionnaire to find out The opinions of specialists in the field of clothing and textile towards the executed pieces, a questionnaire to survey the opinions of consumers towards the executed pieces.
